Mango is the real star of this cake so make sure to pick some good, sweet ripe. Mangoes add a beautiful pop of color, incredible flavor, and a healthy boost of nutrients to the cake.


  • 1-2 Medium mango, cut in cubes
  • ¾ cup 180 grams sugar (make powder)
  • ½ cup (120 ml) butter/oil
  • ½ tsp yellow food colour (Optional)
  • 2 cup (280 grams) maida / plain flour
  • 200 gm Condense milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) milk (room temperature)



  1. Firstly, in a blender take 1 cup mango and blend to smooth puree dissolving mango completely.
  2. Transfer the mango puree into large bowl. 
  3. In a separate bowl, Add 80 gm butter, 200gm condense milk, 100 gm powder sugar and ½ tsp yellow food colour (optional).
  4. Using a whisk, mix well making sure everything is well combined.
  5. Now Add Mango puree and mix well.
  6. Now place a sieve and add 2 cup maida, 1 tsp baking powder, ¼ tsp baking soda and ¼ tsp salt (optional).
  7. Sieve the flour making sure there are no lumps.
  8. Mix well using cut and fold method.
  9. Now add ¼ cup milk and mix until the batter is combined well to form smooth paste.
  10. Now crease cake mould with ghee or refined oil evenly at all sides.
  11. Spread the butter paper at the base of a container and apply oil on the butter paper as well to prevent from sticking.  
  12. Now transfer the cake batter to a cake mould and tap twice to level up uniformly and remove any air bubbles if present.
  13. Pre-heat the oven on 180 centigrade, now place the cake pan into preheated microwave
  14. Microwave is heated to 180 centigrade and set for 45 mins.
  15.  Let us make mango puree to apply on the cake
  16. Add mango puree in a frying pan, add sugar powder, cook it on low fame will it turns translucent. 
  17. Turn off the flame and let it cool.
  18. After 45 Mins take out the cake from microwave.
  19. Insert a toothpick and check if the cake has baked completely.
  20. Cool the cake and then unmould the mango cake.

Finally, apply mango puree on the top of the cake and spread all over the cake evenly, you can add the chocolate balls as topping.
