Mango Peda Recipe – Instant Mango Peda with Milk Powder. This is Super delicious mango peda which taste so sweet and rich. It is super easy to make and taste so delicious.


It an easy and popular Indian sweet recipe made with mango pulp and milk powder. The recipe is an extension to the popular milk peda recipe with additional mango flavour to it. It can be served as dessert for any feast or festival and shared with friends.

This is one of the easiest sweet you could ever make; it can be made in few mins and peda is one of the easiest options. Moreover, it is the mango season and there is myriad of mango option available in the market.

Peda is a popular mithai or sweet made with milk. It is a known fact that lots of Indian sweets are made with milk or milk solids and so is the ever-popular peda. The richness and flavor of this sweet are truly divine. Along with the richness of milk, this sweet is gently laced with the flavor of cardamom and saffron.


SOME TIPS –

  1. Use fresh mango pulp by grounding ripe mangoes.
  2. Use milk powder along with cashew powder to have rich flavour, alternatively, you can also make the fresh khoya from scratch.
  3. Once the peda is shaped deep freeze it for 10-15 mins so that is becomes hard. Also, you may need to store in the refrigerator so that it stays good for a week.

INGREDIENTS –

  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 3/4 cup milk or 1/4 Cup Condensed Milk
  • few thread saffron / kesar
  • 1 cup mango pulp
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk powder, 
  • ¼ cup cashew powder
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • Almonds & Pistachios, to garnish


HOW TO MAKE AAM PEDA RECIPE - DELICIOUS MANGO PEDA RECIPE –

 

  1. First, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp ghee, 3/4 cup milk, few thread saffron and 1 cup mango pulp.
  2. Stir well making sure everything is well combined.
  3. Now add ¼ cup sugar and stir until sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Add 1 cup milk powder and ¼ cup cashew powder.
  5. Mix well making sure the mixture is well combined, making sure there are no lumps present.
  6. Keep the flame on low, stir continuously.
  7. The mixture will thicken after 5 minutes.
  8. Further, add ¼ tsp cardamom powder and mix well.
  9. After 15 minutes, the mixture will start to separating the pan and will hold shape.
  10. Do not overcook as the peda hardens.
  11. Transfer the prepared mixture into a greased plate and spread uniformly.
  12. Cool for 5 minutes or till you can handle the hot peda mixture.
  13. After about 5 minutes, grease your palms with ghee and take a tablespoon of the Mango peda mixture on your palm and shape up into a ball.
  14. Design using the flower mould or Press it a little to give it a disc shape
  15. You can also decorate using a toothpick or fork.
  16. Repeat for all the mango peda and then you can just press 1 or 2 slit Almonds,Pistachios and Kesar on top of each mango peda.

Finally, serve mango peda for a week when stored in an airtight container.
